At Dinsas, every packet of spice is handled with uncompromising care, from the traditional farms of Sri Lanka to your kitchen.

Food Safety & Change of Mind

Due to the premium nature of our organic products and strict food safety and hygiene regulations, we do not accept returns or offer refunds for a change of mind. All sales are final once dispatched. Differences in personal taste preferences or natural seasonal variations in the spices do not qualify for a refund.

Damaged or Incorrect Orders

Your satisfaction and culinary experience are deeply important to us. If your order arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, we are here to make it right.

  • Notification: Please inspect your order upon arrival and notify us within 24 hours of delivery.
  • Process: Email us at flavours@dinsas.shop or message us via WhatsApp at +61 421 560 120 with your order number and clear photographs of the damaged or incorrect items and the packaging.
  • Resolution: As a dedicated, independently run business, every customer inquiry is reviewed personally. Please allow 3 to 5 business days for us to assess the issue and respond with a resolution, which may include a replacement or store credit at our discretion.

This policy does not affect your statutory rights under the consumer guarantees applicable in your purchasing region (such as Australian Consumer Law or Sri Lankan consumer protection laws).

At Dinsas, we believe the journey of our premium organic spices from the estates of Sri Lanka to your kitchen should be handled with the utmost care. This policy outlines our shipping procedures, delivery estimates, and important customs information for our customers in Sri Lanka and Australia.

1. Order Processing

Every order is carefully curated and hand-packed to ensure the delicate essential oils and vibrant flavours of our spices are perfectly preserved. Because of this meticulous, small-batch approach, please allow 2 to 4 business days for your order to be processed and prepared for dispatch. You will receive a confirmation email with tracking information as soon as your parcel is on its way.

2. Shipping Destinations & Timeframes

We proudly ship our spices locally within Sri Lanka and internationally to Australia. While we partner with reliable premium courier services, please note that local transit times can vary based on the logistics. 

  • Sri Lanka: 2–8 business days
  • Australia: 5 –14 business days

3. Customs, Duties & Biosecurity (Australia)

Australia has some of the strictest biosecurity and agricultural import regulations in the world to protect its local ecosystems.

  • Compliance: We take great care to ensure our commercially packaged, premium organic spices are prepared to meet standard Australian import requirements.
  • Inspections: Please be aware that the Australian Department of Agriculture, Fisheries and Forestry may occasionally select parcels containing food items for routine inspection. This is a standard procedure and may add a few days to your expected delivery time.
  • Additional fees: Any unforeseen delivery or clearance fees levied by postal services are the sole responsibility of the customer. Dinsas cannot be held liable for delays caused by postal services. 

4. Tracking Your Order

To provide peace of mind, all orders are dispatched with a secure tracking number. Once your order leaves our facility, you can monitor its journey directly through the carrier’s portal.

5. Delayed or Missing Parcels

If your order has not arrived within the estimated timeframe, we recommend first checking your tracking link or the provided delivery contact details for any updates regarding postal holds or local delivery attempts.If you require further assistance, please contact us at flavours@dinsas.shop. We personally oversee every aspect of our customers’ experience from start to finish; please allow 48 to 72 working hours for us to investigate the logistics with our delivery services and provide you with a comprehensive update.
